Sculpture Garden

The grounds are a place guests can sit and reflect on what they viewed inside the museum while enjoying the beauty of the outdoors. In fact, one of Mr. Bryan’s favorite spots is the curved bench facing the Madonna and Child sculpture by Charles Umlauf because it gives a perspective of both the
building and the grounds. A special feature is a trellis in the center of the sculpture garden inspired by the bougainvillea arbors at the Getty Center in Los Angeles, California. A mix of red and orange bougainvillea grows up the solid iron rebar structure, and at nightfall lights up with red twinkling lights to create a sense of fire.
