December 21, 2019 @ 4:00 pm 6:00 pm

The U.S. Navy commissioned the USS Texas on March 12, 1914. She was considered the most powerful weapon in the world. After service in WWI, she returned in WWII as the flagship of the D-Day invasion at Normandy and pounded the beaches of Omaha and Point du Hoc in support of attacking Allied forces.

Join Bruce Bramlett, Executive Director of the Battleship Texas Foundation, as he shares both the colorful and brave history of the BB-35 and current plans for the future restoration and relocation of this beloved Texas icon and national treasure.
