Celebrating Student Artists Throughout Texas

Now On View: Donald E. McMahon Presents the I Am Texas Student Art Expo Space

This fall, the Donald E. McMahon I Am Texas Student Art Expo Space on the ground floor of the Museum will be adorned with creative artwork from the finalists of The Bryan Museum’s 2023 I Am Texas Writing and Art Contest. The art on display is the best of over 300 submissions from this year’s contest. These young artists from all over Texas entered original artwork done in charcoal, watercolor, oil paint, acrylic, graphite, pastel, and colored pencil. We are proud to celebrate this top art as well as launch the 2024 I Am Texas writing and art contest. For more information about the upcoming contest, visit iamtx.org.
