I Am Texas Student Donation

Dear Friends and Supporters,

As many of you can imagine, publishing 1,000 students this year has been a huge undertaking on top of preparing to break a Guinness World Record for the Largest Published Book in the World! We can’t wait to see so many of you on November 5th!

Students from all over Texas are coming to the book signing event that afternoon. The excitement to attend the gala later that night has been overwhelming. One of our title one high schools in Galena Park (North Shore High) had over 50 students win the contest, and there just aren’t enough gala tickets for everyone. The school will bus these students in if we can raise some extra funds to cover all of the extra seats. (North Shore has been entering the publishing contest for over 7 years now.)

We are also preparing to take care of our winning students from the Uvalde community by providing additional seats to the teachers and parents who want to attend. 

If you would like to cover the cost of a student ticket, every $100 dollars will provide an extra seat to the gala which is a once in a lifetime event for any child, especially those in our underserved communities. We can’t wait to let everyone who donates know how many extra seats we were able to give away.
