Texas Story Summer Camp at The Bryan

The Museum’s popular Summer History Camp will serve 30 students for a morning or afternoon session each day the week of June 19-23. These camps are important vehicles to teach children in our region the stories and traditions of Texas and the American West in a fun, engaging, hands-on way. This year’s half-day camps will focus on how we tell stories: through artifacts, art, the written word, and by unconventional means.  It will include art, writing, drama, and a camper showcase.

Your scholarship donation of $100 covers curriculum, instructors, supplies, and snacks for a history camp scholar, helping us inspire the next generation of historians, storytellers, and trailblazers.

We will recognize scholarship donors on our website, and donors will be invited to the Friday showcases. Best of all, you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you made a difference in the life of a child this summer!

Please send a child to summer camp!

For $100, you can send a Galveston-area student who would not otherwise be able to attend camp to a week of history camp at The Bryan Museum. Donations accepted at the front desk, gift shop, and with the form below.
