As we celebrate our Nation’s 244th birthday, I’m reminded how young our country is and how bold our experiment in self-government. These two weeks between Juneteenth and July 4th are a time to celebrate our freedom and reflect on the entirety of our history.  The beauty of America, and the strength of our country, is built on our differences and the intertwining of our identities. Today, let’s celebrate America the Beautiful and embrace our great mix of cultures and ideas with optimism for the future and a belief in the strength of our evolving Union.
