And So It Begins . . .

The Bryan Museum is thrilled to launch its 2023 membership campaign with a unique twist. Beginning this year, patrons who renew or join at the Empresario, Archer, Wharton or Old 300 level will receive an exceptional gift – a beautiful piece of pottery made by local winning artist, Daryl McCracken. Only 100 pieces will be made, and each signed and delivered with a certificate of authenticity. This beautiful piece of pottery, created exclusively for The Bryan Museum, is inspired by early Texas prehistoric artifacts found in the Spanish Colonial Gallery. Begin your limited-edition pottery collection with this inaugural 2023 clay vessel designed to evoke the past while looking towards the future.

Only 100 pieces will be made, and each will be signed and delivered with a certificate of authenticity.

For over 30 years, Daryl McCracken has been working as a studio artist and educator and is a co-founder of a grass-roots clay organization – ClayHouston designed to organize and promote Houston area clay artists. He focuses on functional and sculptural stoneware and porcelain vessels for local businesses as well as exhibiting in national juried exhibitions.
