The Bryan Museum owes much of its success to our volunteers! They bring skills, life experiences, and energy to support the Museum’s mission and goals. Our volunteer team comprises of men and women from every walk of life, from students to retirees.

POSITIONS

Gallery Specialist

Assists guest learning in the galleries. These volunteers receive specialized training in gallery interpretation. This position requires completing readings and an oral review.


Greeter

Welcomes group tours as they arrive, assisting the docent.


Special Projects

Assists Events, Collections, Administration, and Education Departments as needed. Projects may include: preparing mailings, office assistance, after hours gallery attendants for events, collection movements, assistance at Museum events (e.g. our annual Gala), and more!

Museum Guide

All volunteers start as guides while becoming acquainted with the Museum. You will greet guests and assist with navigation around the Museum campus.


Docent

Guide guests on regular tours throughout the museum and perform the important function of introducing, interpreting, and deepening the guests’ Museum experience.
