The Bryan Museum offers a robust field trip experience for students of all ages. The focus of the field trips is to bring the history of Texas and the American West to life through our world class collection of art and artifacts and expert tour guides.
Students will be guided through four galleries of artifacts which focus on the history and exploration of Texas and the American West including the Age of Contact, colonization under Stephen F. Austin, the Texas Revolution, and early statehood. Additionally, students participate in 2-3 other activities depending on the age and size of the group. Teachers may select from a Texas artist scavenger hunt, Galveston Orphans' Home tour, artifact exploration, special exhibit tour, cowboy BINGO, art project, garden tour, and more. Education staff will help you design the perfect tour for your students.
Student admission is $7 per student if booked through the education department.
Adult admission is $8 per adult.
School tours are free for students from Title One schools.
