Rosario I. Granados will delve into the complex and decorative world of Baroque religious art, focusing specifically on colonial art of Spanish America found in the "From the Vault" exhibit. Her talk will explore the "cult of saints" in print, painting, and sculpture which helped create a sensory and global experience connecting art, politics, and religion from all corners of the Hispanic world.
