Dr. Donald S. Frazier, the Director of The Texas Center at Schreiner University in Kerrville and a content advisor for the State Board of Education's social studies curriculum overhaul will discuss the changes specifically related to how Texas history is taught as well as share information from E Pluribus Texas, the video series that he and his colleagues at The Texas Center created to support teachers and students as they navigate the new standards. Dr. Frazier is dedicated to creating and presenting an honest multicultural look at Texas history and how its people helped shape American history. This is a not-to-be missed presentation for social studies educators and anyone interested in how Texas history will be taught to public school children.
